October marks the fiftieth anniversary of the start of the Second Vatican Council. What really happened there? How did it shape our Church? What does the Council tell us about our present-day Church? We welcome Georgetown Professor of Theology John O’Malley, S.J., on Wednesday, October 24 at 7 P.M. in Barbelin Hall to learn about such issues. Father O’Malley is an award-winning historian and author whose works include What Happened at Vatican II. He is also known for his writings on the first Jesuits, the Council of Trent, and Jesuits and the arts.
