Young-Adult Community: OSJ YAC Regular Events
First Sunday Cook-Outs/Ins
Our First Sunday Courtyard Cook-Outs/Cook-Ins generally take place after the 6:30pm Mass on Sunday evenings on the first Sunday of the month. As always, we need help with setup and cleanup. Please consider coming to Mass a few minutes early to move tables and chairs outside, and/or stay a few minutes after eating to return the furniture to the Hall and to assist with trash and the few non-disposable dish items.
Please contact Tom at email@example.com to offer your services.
Note: Cookouts sometimes take place on the second Sunday of the month when a holiday falls on the first weekend of the month.
Tuesday Night Gatherings
The OSJ YAC, embracing Catholic and Jesuit values, aims to foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for young adults Catholics in their 20s and 30s, single and married, interested in exploring the values of spirituality, social justice, and community in their lives. The group meets every other Tuesday (see Google Calendar for dates) in the Irani House on the southwest corner of Willings Alley and Third (enter from the Alley). Please come and join us in reflection, community, food, and fellowship! Feel free to bring food and beverage of your choosing.
OSJ YAC, encouraging a sense of community and friendship, hosts monthly happy hours at bars throughout the city. Look for details on our Google calendar or in YAC Matters. We look forward to seeing you there.
