The Sacrament of Reconciliation

The Church Fathers sometimes called this sacrament “the more difficult baptism.”  St. Ambrose drew a parallel between reconciliation and baptism: “there are water and tears:  the water of Baptism and the tears of repentance.”

  • The Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated on weekdays and Saturdays between 11:30AM and 12PM in the Reconciliation Room located to the right of the sanctuary of the church.
  • Those wishing to receive the sacrament at other times can contact the parish office between the hours of 9:30AM and 4:30PM during the week to schedule a time to meet with one of the priests in residence.
  • Communal celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation are celebrated two times a year in preparation for Christmas and Easter.
