Join us SUNDAY MARCH 13th at 3:30pm in the Church for ENCOUNTERING JESUSFaith Formation with Fr. James Martin, S.J. Jesuit Father Jim Martin is a celebrated author, writer, and and editor-at-large of the Catholic weekly magazine America. Fr. Martin, the official chaplain to the Colbert Report, will discuss his latest book “The Abbey” and touch on various aspects of Ignatian spirituality. He will also preach and preside at our 6:30pm Mass.

Also please join us Social Justice Stations of the Cross: Led by Dr Maureen O’Connell, a religion professor at LaSalle (who previously worked at Fordham and has degrees from St. Joe’s and Boston College) on presenting Social Justice Stations of the Cross on Palm Sunday (March 20, 2016) from 2:00-5:00 p.m. The goal will be to use social justice themes to complement each station and will include a walking procession through the neighborhood surrounding OSJ. Professor O’Connell has offered similar programs before, including a social justice themed pilgrimage down Broad Street during the Pope’s visit that was outstanding. Her bio is here: http://www.lasalle.edu/religion/faculty-profile/?fid=113

Blessed Lent
