The parish is blessed with the sage and prayerful advice of parishioners who, as part of their stewardship commitment to the parish, assist the pastor in the assessment of the present and the discernment of the future of the parish community, especially in regard to the mission and programs of the parish.

Nomination For Parish Council
Do you know someone who would be a valuable member of the Old St. Joseph’s Parish Pastoral Council? Please see below for the nomination process!
Please complete the Web form below. Once nomination is received, a representative from the Parish Council will contact an individual to discuss the nomination process and elections. Please note that elections are held once per year, with the nomination period typically closing in April, and that there are deadlines to consider when submitting a nomination.
Please note that nominations for the 2016 Parish Pastoral Council election cycle are currently CLOSED.
Persons Nominated MUST meet the following Qualifications to Be Elected to the Parish Pastoral Council:
- Registered, active, and contributing member of Old St. Joseph’s parish
- Commitment to the well-being of OSJ as a parish community
- Willingness to be contacted by parishioners regarding their concerns, suggestions, etc.
- Ability to attend a regular monthly meeting, currently on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 7:30-9 pm, and to play an active role in the work of the Parish Pastoral Council.
