Music at OSJ

Music at Old St. Joseph’s Church spans a near century-long tradition of outstanding liturgical music and concerts, offering to our parish and city an abundance of sacred choral literature and organ repertoire, from the great Catholic heritage of Gregorian chant, through the renaissance, baroque, and 20th century repertoire. We invite you to join us here in our proclamation of joy and hope!

Choir

The Schola Cantorum sings weekly at the 11:30 AM Sunday Mass (mid September through mid June) as well as for the principal liturgies of Christmas and Holy Week. The choir also sings for the annual All Souls’ Choral Requiem Mass and for the December Advent Lessons and Carols liturgy. In addition to an enriching musical experience and the opportunity to enter more fully into the liturgical life of the church, the choir enjoys a wonderful fellowship and camaraderie. For more information contact Dr. Mark Bani at music@oldstjoseph.org.
